Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of CompeteIQ — read them carefully before using the Service.

Agreement to Terms

  • By accessing or using CompeteIQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
  • If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
  • If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

Description of Service

  • CompeteIQ provides repricing automation and competitive intelligence monitoring for e-commerce sellers.
  • The Service tracks competitor prices, monitors Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) compliance, and automates repricing rules across connected marketplaces.
  • We may add, modify, or discontinue features; update pricing; or change service tiers at any time with reasonable notice.

Acceptable Use

  • You may not use the Service to scrape, harvest, or store competitor data beyond your own monitored listings without explicit permission.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or redistribute any part of the Service or its underlying algorithms.
  • You may not use the Service in a way that interferes with its availability to other users or attempts to bypass rate limits.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any activity that occurs under your account.

Billing & Refunds

  • Subscription plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the tier you select at signup.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
  • All fees are non-refundable once charged, unless we fail to deliver the Service as described.
  • We may change prices at any time; price changes apply to the next billing cycle after notice is provided.

Data Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including product listings, pricing rules, and marketplace credentials.
  • We do not claim any ownership over your data.
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized analytics derived from your usage to improve the Service, but no individual data is shared with third parties.

Termination

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or engage in prohibited activity.
  • Upon termination, we will delete your account data within 30 days of your request, unless retention is required by law.

Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
